What does justice look like when it moves online? Across India, courts are rapidly adopting digital tools — yet the experiences of those who actually use these systems remain largely invisible in how they are designed. Visions of Justice Space investigates how judicial digitisation reshapes access to justice and the rule of law in India. Through participatory and co-design methodologies, the project foregrounds the lived realities of justice users — asking not just whether digital tools work, but for whom and on whose terms. Its findings will inform recommendations for policymakers, judicial administrators, and civic-tech organisations working to make digital justice more inclusive and accountable.
