Camila​ Hidalgo​

Camila Hidalgo is a legal and social science researcher and a PhD candidate affiliated with the Professorship for Participation and Diversity in Digital Societies at the Technical University of Munich. Her doctoral work explores the concept of child agency as a policy goal in the context of digital technologies’ role in children's learning and creative processes. She is interested in how participatory and co-design approaches can inform child agency attributes and their operationalization in education policy. She has worked with children, educators, researchers, tech companies, and NGOs on topics such as Child Safety, AI Literacy, and AI Ethics across Europe, the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean.​
