Paul​ Trauttmansdorff

Lab Member and Research Fellow​

Paul Trauttmansdorff is a postdoctoral researcher in the social studies of science and technology. He is currently based at the Chair for Philosophy and History of Science and Technology, located at the School of Social Sciences and Technology, Technical University of Munich. His research has centered on the imaginaries and infrastructures of data and data governance, with a particular emphasis on future visions of borders, the digitization of mobility control, and the impact of security technology and biometrics. His publications include The Digital Transformation of the European Border Regime (Bristol University Press) and Technopolitics and the Making of Europe. Infrastructures of Security (Routledge, edited with Nina Klimburg-Witjes).​
