Gabriela Boechat
Gabriela Boechat holds three Bachelor's degrees - in Sciences and Humanities, Public Policy, and International Relations - from the Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC), as well as a Master's degree in Public Administration and Government from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). She is currently a PhD Candidate at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Her research interests lie at the intersection of public policy and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on quantum and other frontier technologies. In her PhD, she examines public procurement governance, emphasizing how new technologies challenge existing bureaucratic structures.
Professionally, she has experience across the public sector, civil society, consultancy, and academia, working primarily on public procurement, open government, transparency, and digital transformation. She is currently a Project Manager at the Quantum Social Lab (TUM Think Tank), where she manages the QuantWorld project and contributes to other initiatives exploring the societal and governance implications of quantum technologies.
