Getting Here

The TUM Think Tank is right at the heart of Munich's academic and cultural district – just a stone's throw from Königsplatz.

We are located in the building of the Hochschule für Politik München, directly behind the Lenbachhaus – Munich's iconic yellow art museum. The entrance is on Richard-Wagner-Straße 1; head to the first floor and turn right.

By Public Transport

From Munich city centre: Take the U2 to Königsplatz – a 3-minute walk from there. Follow Brienner Straße toward the Lenbachhaus; our building is immediately behind it.

From Munich Airport (MUC): Take the S8 (direction Herrsching) or S1 (direction Ostbahnhof) to Munich Hauptbahnhof – journey time approx. 40 minutes. From there, take the U2 (direction Messestadt Ost) one stop to Königsplatz. Total travel time from the airport: approximately 50 minutes.
