While millions of people turn to ChatGPT with their questions, tech magazine 1E9 and the Deutsches Museum are bringing together the brightest minds from start-ups, science, industry, art, and politics to get answers from them: about the right use of artificial intelligence, technologies for climate protection, innovations from biotechnology and biotechnology and medicine, progress in the development of quantum computers and robots, the race to space, and about the future of the digital world with XR and Web3. The TUM Think Tank at the Munich School for Politics and Public Policy is a partner of the festival. With a very special art performance and an experience center for you to try out Generative AI in the real world and beyond. 

From July 6 to 9, 2023, the "Festival of the Future" on Munich's Museum Island offers over 5,000 people to take part in an interactive exhibition, art and music performances, as well as keynotes, discussions, and workshops on five stages and become part of the discourse on the future.

On Saturday July 8, the festival does not charge admission because it is Family Day. On this day, you can experience generative AI with its societal implications together with us! Visit our booth in the experience center, where you can write your own stories, create your own art, preserve culture by playing curling in virtual reality, chat with our scientists from the Generative AI Taskforce, and discuss the impact of generative AI on social media.

Also, we will have an impromptu theater, where we "prompt the stage" with Steife Brise, titled "The Future Is Ours?!" This captivating live simulation will dive into the opportunities and challenges of AI in our daily lives.
