Judith Fauth
Dr.-Ing. Judith Fauth is a researcher at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, at the Chair of Computational Modeling and Simulation since April 2024. Prior to this appointment, she was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cambridge (UK), a postdoctoral researcher at the Technische Universität Wien, and a researcher in the iECO project at RIB Software GmbH.
She has completed several international research stays, including at the University of Southern California, Fraunhofer Italia, University of Auckland, and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She obtained her doctorate in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in 2021, within the Department of Construction Engineering and Management, and received several awards for outstanding early-career research in Germany and Austria for her dissertation.
Judith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Facility and Real Estate Management.
Since 2016, her research has focused on the digitalization of building permit processes, with particular emphasis on transdisciplinary perspectives that integrate project and process management. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal and conference publications in this field.
She is a member of the management committee of the European Network for Digital Building Permits (EUnet4DBP) and serves as chair of the scientific committee of the Digital Building Permit Conferences, where she is also actively involved in the organizing committee.
