Our mission? To make quantum mechanics accessible and ignite public excitement by showcasing the transformative potential of this revolutionary field. Prepare to have your perceptions challenged and your imagination sparked as we explore the intersection of art, science, and technology through a range of engaging formats.

The Quantum Social Lab, the TUM Centre for Culture and the Arts and the QuantWorld Project hosted by the BMBF invite you together with our partners Fraunhofer AISEC and MRI to join our renewed International Quantum Forum.

Across two days, the forum offers four distinct focuses, each with its unique location and theme:

Day 1 Chapter I: Academia – Where Knowledge Takes Root

TUM Think Tank 11:30 AM - 4 PM (This part of the event is specifically tailored to people from academia. If you are interested in joining this slot, please send an email to Fabienne Marco.)

The TUM Think Tank merges into the epi center of Quantum Technologies and international research. Immerse yourself in the academic world with partner workshops, panels, and discussions centered around pressing topics like Sustainable Development Goals, Cultural and Design Workshops around Quantum, Capacity Building, Quantum NLP and other international projects.

Day 1 Chapter II: Where Culture Sparks Science

Alte Utting 7 PM - 1 AM

Step into the extraordinary at Alte Utting as the evening transforms into a vibrant fusion of quantum science and urban subculture. Discover quantum’s playful side through captivating poetry slams, thought-provoking performances, bold art, and interactive installations that bring science to life. This unique showcase celebrates the ingenuity of young researchers and artists, inviting you to experience quantum in ways you’ve never imagined.

To get to know your fellows, we offer drinks and a good party in the machinery room of the Utting till 1 am. Bring your friends and enjoy the evening!

Day 2 Chapter I: Experience Quantum

SMÄK 9 AM - 4 PM

Embark on a "Module Parcours" that takes you through four fascinating areas: banking, health, mobility, and science, technology, and society (STS). Engage with interactive exhibits, capture the moment at the Quantum Photo Booth, and provide valuable feedback on your experience. This session is geared towards everyone - join us here!

This specific part will take place at the SMÄK, the Egyptian Museum Munich!

As a side program we offer different workshops and focus groups - hosted by scientists, but open for the public.

Day 2 Chapter II: The Grand Finale!

Gasteig HP8 7 PM - 11 PM

Conclude the forum on a high note with a captivating artistic showcase featuring music and poetry installations, thought-provoking stand-up talks, and a seamless blend of academic and artistic elements. This grand finale is open to the general public and promises to leave you inspired!
