How can the impact of digital measures in MPSC cities be made measurable - and what is needed for sustainable continuation after funding ends?

At the 6th MPSC Congress in Munich, representatives from numerous cities and regions discussed precisely these questions. The focus was on the development of impact-oriented evaluation processes: They should not only reflect the immediate success of individual projects, but also make learning effects visible and enable transferability to other cities.

The challenge: impact measurement is essential - but also complex and time-consuming. Suitable methods, clear objectives and a common framework of understanding are needed to make the effectiveness of digital measures comprehensible and to derive well-founded decisions for future developments.

Another key issue is the sustainable continuation of successful measures. What needs to be considered and prepared during the project period so that digital solutions can be sustained and further developed even after the funding ends?
We have addressed these and other questions in a workshop report. It summarizes key findings from the exchange on 7 May - and shows what is important now.
